A massive wave of protests for human rights in Iran sparked by the death of 22 Year old Mahsa Amini (who should be honored by her Kurdish name Jina or Zhina Amini as that is an important intersection of her identity) who passed away after being beaten to death by “Morality Police”.

Social media has already been shut down in order to shut down momentum and silence protesters. Iranians are asking for anyone who can to continue the pressure and visibility by sharing the hashtag. This is one of the largest successful rights protests in Iran for a while and the support will help keep people in the light and in the press to ensure protections.
